It's very cold in the UK today. I never shut my bedroom curtains as I don't have any neighbours and when I opened one eye this morning, it was to see snow on the hills. Brrrrr. I pulled the duvet up and cuddled in! BM had promised Miss Beth she would take her shopping for some new school uniform and as Miss Beth has taken after her mother and loves to spend other people's money, she was up at 9 sharp and jumped into bed with BM. 'What time are we leaving?' Oh no! That'll teach me to promise shopping trips after a couple of glasses of Chardonnay!
BM and Miss Beth set off on their shopping trip.
Quite uneventeful if I'm honest! We managed to buy two vests (not school uniform, when I was of that era) a pair of black trousers and a pair of black shoes, without any major fall out. Mission accomplished!
When we were heading back to the BM, Miss Beth nudged me in the ribs, pssst look! BM looked up and saw a man walking past, he wasn't wearing any shoes!
BM gave herself a shake and looked again. Yes! The man wasn't wearing any shoes The temperature hadn't improved since BM pulled the duvet up! About 2c! I looked at the man's feet, which were a shade of purple (temperature) and black (muck). Errrrr! Apart from the lack of shoes, he didn't look THAT bad, although there was no way he would have made it onto BM's list (any of them!) Why wasn't he wearing shoes???
Which brings me to ask, what are you wearing?
The only thing BM wears in bed is Chanel No 5. I'm a bit of a hard nut as my big bed is freezing when I get in but still I can't bring myself to wear PJ's.
Readers will be pleased to note I am fully clothed at present, in jeans from River Island and a grey jumper, but no shoes. I do have own some though.
