I've been in dubai for a day now and i've been grabbed, touched, propositioned and stared at inappropriatley about 10 times. I'm dressed modestly with only my face and hands showing so what gives?

Sorry for you flutterbye, it was a lousy introduction to Dubai. They may have been laborers. They are the more obvious desperate men. ALL the other degenerates try to creep up on you. Wait until you go to Carrefour or Geant and see them in the lingerie section "feeling" the bras and undies.

Eventually you will laugh at it and learn to yell at them. That puts them on a bit of a run.
