I'm trying to upload some videos from my recent trip to Turkey on youtube, but its too slow due to the big size.
I tried to download some softwares to resize my videos, but the quality turned to be horrible and without any audio!

Anybody can help me out please?

Are the videos shot in HD ? What format is it in ? M2ts, MKV, AVCHD, avi etc etc. If you still want to keep it in HD you can lower the video and audio bitrate to reduce the size. Or downscale it from 1080p to 720p or less There are also many free converters available online that let you tweak the settings and convert to FLV ( The format used by Youtube )

Even convert the audio from a stereo to mono and will lower the size of the file.

The format (file extention) is .MOV
The videos were taken via my digital camera.

May you please name one of those useful softwares that can help?
