Well I don't really care so long as I get to keep my BB, because the alternative packages aren't really alternative are they. Plus the retards at Etisalat assured me today that BBM can be downloaded onto other smart phones - er no it can't you idiots.

Bah ! BB's are useless unless you use it for bussiness and absolutely have to be connected 24/7. And if one really must insist that they have to be able to update their FB status every 0.2 millisecond. Get something like the up comming DU 24mbps broadband Mobile connection( currently working at 3mbps ) and use other messengers like Gtalk, MSN etc etc because one must be able to talk their clique all times. Atleast that way you get to use decent devices unlike the RIM monstrosities ! Ugh !

Well no lets' be clear, Apply did not disable Facetime. Many of the phones shipped to the UAE don't hav the application as it's not supported (supposedly) BUT if you get an imported phone with FT then you can use it.

Really not such a surprise that they would either have to back down or find a solution, seeing as how many important people are all covered in Blackberries...

The whole point of Bb issue was that to get the Iphone 4 in the market. So that bb users will actually go and buy Iphone.

Doesn't surprise me really.

I suppose it had to be resolved quickly, bearing in mind that both Etisucksalot and Don't are both launching the new Blackberry models at Gitex, and that has been in planning for a while...
