well locals have to have a permit from the government to buy land and build a house in dubai or the UAE depending where your passport is issued. There are rights or benefits that local people have over other nationalities in the UAE

Is there anything in specific that you want to ask about? ;)

Contrary to popular belief, many locals don't earn that much at all, and many work darn hard for their money.

The locals in general in Dubai at least try to do some work. So any benefits might just be rewarded.

The locals in Saudi, turn up fall asleep and leave in the evening when they are awake. Although Bleakus also falls in this category, dont you dude? ;-)

Bleakus works pretty damn hard dude... he used to have an on call job, he'd get called anytime of day or night and would have to rush to the office and would be there a minimum of 5 hours then have to get to his shift after that.

the job he's got now, he doesn't work the long crazy hours anymore, but his responsibilities are insane

don't mess bub :D :D

As far as I know, Locals only get pensions for being government jobs. They also pay about a 1/4 what expats pay for water/electric.

but there are incentives as well that the government offers for marrying other locals and opening businesses.

Other than that, I do know that is is really hard for a lot of locals to get jobs because companies don't want to hire more than the law requires. There are a couple of reasons for this. First off, they see locals as slackers which is totally unfair. There are slackers from all countries, locals are some of the hardest working people I know (top 10). The other reason is some locals have pride issues, they want to make a certain salary and get benefits just because they are local and the law requires that companies hire them.

its just recently now im online most of the time because i dont have a job, and im online because im taking some courses through the web with my university and preparing myself for some exams that i need to take..one of which is on the 4th of this month :?
