Beth and I were watching TV around 8pm, well I was watching TV and Beth was watching her blackberry when she started to receive a stream of messages with photos from her friends in Dubai.
The Burj Khalifa was on fire!!
OMG says BM! Give me a look. Sure as hell there were pictures of the Burj with what looked like smoke coming from the top floors. It brought back images of the twin towers. There wasn't just one picture but a few taken from different angles!
My heart was racing! What was happening in Dubai? Were they being attacked? Had someone left the chip pan on?
I sent a text to Mr Emirati! It read 'Is the Burj Khalifa on fire?'
I was reassured when he text me back to say no, all is well with the Burj K. It was only fug.
