Sorry to go back on topic as it seems to be an uncommon occurance but how about making the avatar able to accept larger files so that people who want to use their pics can do so?

Alternatively, reduce your picture so it will fit into the avatar size? Some people have managed that (Constantine and Wafaey for sure)

Interesting to note that both of those individuals have now removed their own faces from their Avatars!! Also, Chocs had a picture of herself as her avatar for about 3 days before Arnie instigated his "Bring back Choc's tiger" campaign!

i dont mind displaying my picture over here...as i've met a fair lot of members from here...i guess i wanted to not post my mug all the time on the forum...and i can vouch for the fact that DUBAI KNIGHT dont look a day older than perhaps 35 ...and a good looking bloke at that!!...i think its all the sky diving and sheeting diving that keeps him young and agile...me thinks
