Well to be honest, you can't simply release a captured whale just like that. The animal is disorientated and perhaps in the wrong type of water to strengthen/survive.

My first thought when I read the article, was that he will soon die. Albeit out of eyesight.

And to add weight to the conspiracy theorists, a whale shark dying in capivity is not uncommon. 2 out of the 4 whale sharks held in georgia aquarium have died, giving them a 50% chance. Has Sammy tipped the balance???

I hear a Japanese whaling ship has been spotted in the Straits of Hormuz...

First off Sammy is a SHE! Secondly, Atlantis has been very sketchy with details of the release and the reasons behind it. Now we just have to wait three months to speculate on the results of the tracking device. But the only way we are going to know what happed for sure, is if Sammy floats to the surface of the gulf, and I would rather that didn't happen.

If SHE was sick during release, she will die for sure.

Any idea where they released the animal? Don't tell me they released the whale next to the desalination outlet that dumps into the Gulf?

They are capable of doing such idiot thing. After all, the logic in Dubai will probably be that the sooner she's gone, the better it is for Dubai when the animal rather dies on someone elses beach. They'll come up with a disorientating motive that the whale hit a Japanese whale hunter vessle after release...

Letting this captured fish go is probably as irresponsible as capturing it in the first place. It won't have coordinates, and will probably wash up on a beach some time soon, having been run over by a motor boat.

I hope she managed to get her passport back before she left...I daresay Atlantis were holding that too!

It's based on past evidence or their lying, cheating ways and the very obvious lack of information given by them. Doesn't take a rocket scientist.
