You may soon start wearing branded straps in your car, to save your life. Soon this may be a fashion statement among youngsters, and a fight to have the best seat belt. Guess what, UAE Road Safety officials are trying to encourage young drivers to wear seatbelts by introducing fashionable straps.

I honesly would never like to have a branded seat belt as it is a necessity and not a luxury. What do you think ?

I think it's really sad that authorities would have to go to such measures, to encourage people to use something which could potentially save their life and the lives of others.

easier to confiscate licenses and impose heavier fines than such nonsense
