I think this is quite a good idea. People still assume that the UAE is very safe, well break-ins are definitely on the rise.

In 92 our house was robbed in Sharjah, took less than a week to get the guys and get our stuff back. The poice here do a mighty fine job in such cases.

No Berrin, they don't, in that you don't get sent to chop chop square to lose a hand if you're caught stealing. It's normally a jail sentence, fine and deportation.
