Today Nu Zilland played the Ukanistan Cricket team in ODI cricket at the Adelaide Oval. The Ukanistanis did well to restrict Nu Zilland to 210, but after this a tragic event happend.

In the second innings, the Ukanistan cricket team did not take the field to bat. The dressing rooms were searched, followed by the entire stadium, and all confirmed reports indicate the Ukanistan cricket team were nowhere to be found.

In the vein of "The show must go on", Ukanistan officials at the ground acted quickly and managed to rustle up some guys who had some experience in Country Cricket, but mostly only from the back yard. Despite their valiant effort they only managed to reach a score of 120 before being bowled out in the 37th over.

After the match, the Ukanistan cricket board refused to assist police in tracking down the Ukanistan team, saying they were pleased with the effort of the stand ins, and grateful the real team didn't come out to bat, because that would have been 'truly humiliating'.

They batted well i would say but chanderpaul rattled them if lara had stuck in they would have taken the game away, if they cant defend 338 i dont think they are doing it right lets see what they come up with today

They shud reach the semis if they play well, the best chance was when in england but they lost it there

Malinga and Murali will humiliate and destroy batting lineups from any corner. Sanath's last world cup will be his best yet. Marvan will coverdrive the aussies to the outback. Sanga will stump and sledge with lethal class. Vaas the destroyer will open spells with magical precision.

I'm taking off work to fly to the Caribbean to witness the destruction the lions will bring to all. Unless of course India poses some kind of threat...errr maybe not.

Australia Cricket is all media hype. Sri Lankan Cricket is raw determination and skill.

Last time we played Sri Lanka in an ODI (I was there at the Gabba), Sri Lanka were totally owned by Australia.

Expect a repeat.

You gotta love that confidence from the Aussies

but maybe times are about to turn. Australia really kicked on after the world cup in 1999 in england. but they cant always have it there way im sure things in 2007 will change
