Qatari Royal Family have bought Harrods in London for £1.5 billion . What a GREAT location for pushing their bid for the 2022 World Cup !! Could not be more high profile for an exhibition of the proposals. They want indoor , covered stadia with cooling and air conditioning. It will cost a fortune in gas.......but if they cannot afford it.....who can ?

Maybe it will be like the Bulgarian/Qatari Olympic weightlifting team?

If Qatar succeeds in winning the ability to host the 2022 World Cup, they simply buy a country with better weather like say, Estonia, call it Qatar and then hold the event there!

Heard that in the recent Eng-Brazil match as well as the 2006 Asian Games, expat ticket holders were not allowed entry as "it is full" while Qataris managed to enter without a ticket.

This is funny !
Whilst many of you have dodged out of Britain for the Middle East.......the Qataris have slipped into your former country and bought its most famous store !!

Meanwhile, some of you mock the Qataris as you pick up your Arab gold !!
Shade of hypocrisy and irony in that , I would have thought !!

So the Qatari's bought Horrids? Better them than let the Fake Sheikh continue his rants and raves. Hopefully our 'former country' will now have the sense to kick him back to where he belongs. Under any rock in Giza will do.

As for picking up the Arab gold? I own my own business here. No Arabs involved. All my clients are MNC's. So its US gold or European gold.

As I said earlier in this thread, maybe Qatar has its eyes on Wales as a potential location for them to buy next so they can change the name and hold the World Cup there? I would laugh when that happened as it would mean you can enjoy the sound of the Muezzin over the streets of Swansea and smoke sheesha!
