Is it really necessary to pray at exact time or there are exceptions?

Salat times are fixed but they have a range...you have like one two three hours (varying from salat to salat) during which you can offer a salat. Exceptions are: having been asleep or having failed to remember to offer a salat. In such cases, a salat is to be offered as soon as one wakes up or remembers that s/he has missed a salat.

it is better to have exact times not only for praying but for everything in life. if you are working for somebody and the job is very laborious don’t miss any salat. office time is emant for such extra curricular activities too. If you are self employed pray either by the morning or by the night if you really want to.
