Just want to say, those of you who know who I am will know that I used to be a very heavy poster on Dubai Forums. Of course it has been some time, but then again, I have been quite busy and really, just got over the place. That and I was banned too, that always helps.

The other forum was started as something, it didn't work out. Nobody is ashamed it didn't work out. It wasn't Concord's fault the site stopped working, actually it was mine as I was travelling overseas for an extended period, and given the situation of Dubai, I didn't think it was worth the bother to fix it and get it working again.

That's life, we move on and get over these things.

As for getting over things, I have been drawn back to the site because apparently my name keeps popping up. Look, you guys can piss around in your little pond and pretend to think you know what you know, but I haven't given 2 craps about this place in well over 18 months, and if it wasn't for the smack being talked about myself and my friends, I would continue to stay away.

However, as it stands, the council of supreme awesomeness have convened (DubaiDog, Concord and myself) and we have discussed this. Of course, by convened I mean I had a beer with Concord one day, and a beer with DubaiDog the next.

So what can I say? You guys have been sold up the river? Dunno.. maybe.. does it matter?

This is my first post in a long time using a sleeper account. My real accounts are banned. I am not in cohorts with any activities of the council of supreme awesomeness besides drinking beer and moaning about work.

As far as I am aware, DubaiDog has only ever posted as DubaiDog. Since we pretty much meet up for drinks 1 to 2 times per week and our discussions are a lot more focused about stuff that matters, the forum has not come up in a discussion in a loooong time. In fact, it only did the other day because of the post of XPT and DubaiDog mentioning it to me.

Concord, I quizzingly asked him about this XPT thing over a beer in the Belgium Beer Bar after DubaiDog first made me aware, and well, lets say Concord and I know each other well enough that I can tell when he's being a banana and not being a banana. What can I say? I don't know what is going on in this place, but I think really with everything in Concs life right now, I don't think he gives a rats about this place either.

Who is XPT? I don't know, I don't care, but please just leave me the f out of it.

Go about your business wondering who, where and why, but leave me out of it. It's not me, I don't think it's Concs and I definitely do not think it is DubaiDog.

The secret of making a scenareo believable is to get your stories straight. I would draw you attention to DD's post which has a huge contradiction with reference to Conc's.

As for your user being banned, DD mentioned this the other day on your behalf. As far as i am aware you arn't, unfortunately sage and i are unable to either check or address this until Andy sorts out some problems.

Not sure what contradiction you're talking about, maybe you should reference it, but I didn't really bother to read it, since I don't need to, because I live in the outside world.

I will add that the only reason why I am here and taking issue is because "oh Ian is still dicking around and playing games on that little forum". Given that I am involved in some heavy projects at the moment and my time is very precious, to me and the people providing my income, I DO NOT WANT people casting aspersions that I still think it's OK just to piddle it away online. I don't work for the government anymore.

Having said that I don't think it will have a widespread impact because there's more people on Dubai Metro than there is on this forum, but Dubai isn't a very big city and I do know there are people on this forum who still deal with me on a professional capacity, I am not posting out of some ruse, but to set the record straight.

So, again, whoever is tickling your nerves and whomever they may be, it has nothing to do with me and given my contact with the supposed other persons I have exceptionally high doubts it is them either. Sure, I cannot know 100% for sure, but you know what... I don't care either. All I care about is being roped into it, or more importantly, NOT being roped into it.

I had my fun in the day agitating you guys and watching you get worked up about things that were pretty obvious to blind freddy anyway, but that time has passed and so has this forum. Sad to see in some ways that this is what it has been reduced to, but I guess one shouldn't complain too much when they don't have enough time on their hands to do anything different or better.

Not really, he got back the night before I met up with him. He'd been away a long time actually and DD didn't even know he was back in town. Nitpicking really.. do you want a boarding pass as proof of evidence?

Man I just cannot believe it. I almost wish I was the guy messing with your head, because whoever it is, he's done a pretty damn good job. Haven't seen such intense paranoia in a long long time.

And as much as I wish I could take all the kudos for it, and believe me, I'm the kind of asshole who would... damn it, it's not me.

I'm almost angry at myself for it not being me now.

Well dude, I hate to burst your bubble, but I can say without a doubt and no word of a lie, that I am not Dr. Strangeglove. I do realise that no matter what I will say you will carry on believing anyway, but you know, I have survived quite well for nearly 2 years now without being part of any forum, there's simply no need and no hole in my life that requires me to be part of one.

It's a touch ironic actually. I fessed up to being B__lady a long time ago, and nobody believed me, especially you, and now here I am, and I can say without a doubt I am NOT Dr. Strangeglove, and yet you think I am.
