I thought of the first "promotion" as I filled up my gas tank today. Since almost invariably they clean the car windons (with a dirty sponge), Scouring R Us could, as a promotion, give each driver a brand spanking new pad. All we have to do is hire the petrol station attendants. I did the budget: 9 employes per station x 200 petro stationas = employee salaries of 7 dirhams and 9 fills per month (or 96 dirhams per year).

Ok ok in honor of EJ’s long standing with Dubai forums and to keep her ticklish mouth closed the following compromise is suggested…..

Picture this…….

Salma Hyak scrubbing away, sweat pouring off her mono brow…screen pans down her wet shirt (catering for male audience members) you see in her hands as she pulls them from elbow deep filthy dish water a yellow and green sponge, dirty, filthy, falling apart. She looks up to the sky thinking there must be a better way….. insert cartoon bubble over SA’s head, light bulb comes on.

Pans to another kitchen. Where a well manicured EJ is easily washing pots effortlessly with a plastic scouring pad. Pan to the dish rack, focusing on the twinkles emanating off of the silverware, pots and dishes.

…….. end screen… fayz comes in and says “life can be easier if you have the right tools” sunsets in the background, 

….. Scouring pads the only way to do dishes when the maid is on leave…..”as recommended by Fayz and with Andy’s permission Dubai Forums, where different people meet.

Don't push it - we are on shaky ground with EJ as it is - she has the power to scupper our plans completely, possibly!

OK Steven Spielburg has agreed to do the "family" infomercial but with a strict proviso that ET must feature in it.

And the world famous director and winner of many Golden Balls Awards Rod McHardon, has agreed to do the Adult version infomercial with the proviso that it features as much tits and bums as is humanly possible.

Oh, erm, you mean me!
Well the background is that Miss Jewel (refered to as EJ from here on in), has made asertions that the said plastic scouring pads are indeed available in Dubai, and that her maid uses them all the time. They have got "loads" at home.
This leaves us in a tricky position, as our market research had shown that whilst there was significant support and demand for PSP (Plastic Scouring Pads), these were not available within Dubai, nor the wider UAE community.
