Opening A Campus In Dubai

Opening a Campus in Dubai Sep 15, 2008
A friend of mine runs a business school in London and would like to open up a branch in Dubai. Does any body know the procedure to start an educational institute in Dubai possibly in Knowledge Village or Academic City?

Contact Media City sales, who govern Knowledge Village. Not sure if Academic City is under the FZ banner yet, but you might find someone who knows there.

However, the simple answer is: Give the dudes in white large suitcases of cash, and you can open almost whatever you like!

Knowledge Village has an administrative office too, and they should be helpful. I think Dubai Academic City is a free zone but administered by KV. The schools/colleges in KV are supposed to move to DAC eventually and leave KV for training institutes and service companies. Or something.
