Ok,ok you are just getting silly now so let me explain and then maybe some of you just might grasp as to why i found it amusing.

In parts of England a "flange" is the slang term for a certain lady part,erm sorta below the waist line but above the knee line.

I haven't heard in used in those terms since I was about 5!
