Hi All member.

My name is Ali from Indonesia
I have offering from one of company in Dubai for Ground Handler Staff
They gave me the package as below:

Monthly basic salary around 4500AED
Monthly Housing Fee around 1500AED
No medical insurance coverage
contract agreement for 02years

Need your advise, is it good package to be taken or not?

Is the housing fee on top of the basic? Or included in it - check on that. Also, by law, a company is obliged to provide it's employees with adequate medical insurance, They are also obliged to provide you with a flight home every year after completion of the first year. I don't know on average how much baggage handlers earn, but it seems pretty fair.

Absolutely not unless you are desperate and there is nothing else for you to do in Indonesia. It will be very, very harsh for you in Dubai.

for the housing fee is different with basic salary

they deduct me AED100 for life insurance but not medical insurance.. i ask them again and they said it is not strictly for the company to provide medical insurance

cipto , Private health insurance is not compulsory, but ALL companies MUST provide you with a Government health card - that is as per UAE labour law.
