Its holiday for us..

what have you guys decided? and where to?

We just got word from HR - We get from tomorrow until the 14th off!!!!

Love it!


Not sure what I will do. I wish they had given us more notice because it's a bit hard to plan anything at the last minute. But who cares, being home doing nothing is still better than work.

Go to one of the goverment sponsored events around the emirates. I will be there...but that is because I am working on them!

going to jabel hafeet, ATV, BBQ, Ice rink... a lot to do on a single day....

for me the National Day holiday meant a quick disappearing act to Oman for a bit of peace and quiet.
Last year I was ready to go outside swinging something heavy and hard and the line of idiots who still thought it was good fun to be revving their engines and peeping their horns like some kind of line up of retards.
It's much quieter over here and my stress levels are a lot better this year

Yeah we only got one day off aswell. But get next Sun, Mon, Tues off! Whoohoo

No day off, but endless amusement watching the bozos in their decked out cars who had sprayed the UAE colours all over them in food dye or washable air colouring. Some had covered their windows and were stopped by the feds in Sharjah and forced to take it off!

I now have a very good little business in second hand UAE flags...plenty littering the side of the Sheikh Zayed Road ready for collection!
