I am a french girl and I'm moving to Dubai next month.
One of my hobby is bike, but I guess that with the heat, the mad traffic etc it must be complicated, especially for a girl, to have a bike...
Do anyone of you ride a bike there?

weather is fine in winter.
traffic is terrible and not particularly safe to ride. i know of at least 5 cyclist who have been killed by cars over the past 3 years.

I know one or two girl motorcyclists. They get on fine, but riding a bike is bloody dangerous here. You ride on the pavements or on the wrong side of the road so you can see the idiots coming to kill you!
