Hi All,

I am going to be offered a job in Dubai and need some advice.

I am of Indian descent but was born and raised in London. I hear that Indians/Bangladeshis/ Philipenoes etc. face a lot of racist abuse. Is this true? Is it because they blue collar workers?

Are there any expats like me?

Also I am diabetic - I get my insulin and stuff free in the UK. Would private healthcare cover this? What paper work do I need if any to prove I am insulin dependant.

Should I ask for a car? I heard you need one to get around.

If I am coloured does this affect me being able to work with senior banking professional? I am very well spoken and dress well.

Please help.

ps - this site is great.
