I have seen people outside the defense road in Abu Dhabi (Mostly Taxi Drivers) selling lost mobiles on very very cheap rates but as seen in newspapers I dont even think now people will be going ahead for a second hand mobile

I remember few years back when I bought Sony Ericsson k750i secondhand it had some problem in it later I send it to the dealer and they told me, it went under service most of the time + when bought it was loaded with p0rn0s
