British suspect, Mark Arnold, 42, has been charged with premeditated murder, although the police have not found her body.

The Briton pleaded not guilty to the charge of endangering the lives of others, claiming that he did not mean to kill or harm a Lebanese man he had chased with a baseball bat on August 20, 2008.

The Lebanese was one of Kerry’s neighbours in Al Barsha. It was reported that Arnold intimidated the neighbour after he saw him punching and assaulting Kerry. The incident happened the same night Kerry disappeared.

Witnesses told police that they had seen Arnold beating Kerry and driving off with her in her car.
