Ok guys and gals,

Time to give something back. About a year ago we had a "fund raising" campaing to buy and ice machine for the dogs at K-9 Friends and there was a good response. Although I was stiffed out of about 1,700 Dhs (people pledged money but did not pay) the machine was bought and used last summer, etc.

The next level of "volunteering" involved K-9 Friends fight to keep their place or get a new location. Thanks to some members of this forum (they knwo who they are) the campaign was successful.

The next step is to design a facility. Well, the goverment will build it (but it won't hurt to know what needs to be built.So if you have any expertise or know of anyone who does regarding:

Architecture
Dog Shelter Design/running
Construction design
Electric
HVAC
Solar energy
Landscaping
Drainage
Waste Disposal
Legal
Real State
Plumbing
Complaince with Municipality requirements (permits, etc.)


Let me know via PM if you posses the skills and have the time to do the work. I've already have enough "wisdom givers".

BTW there will be "objectors" who will speak of the plight of humans in Dubai, etc. However, remenber that dogs can't speak for themselves...

And BTW2, I do much more for humans than for dogs...
