Getting ready to move to dubai and looking in the marina area for a apt..are there any bldgs that have very good gym's in them ? or is there a VERY close by gym that I can join ?

All the developments that are currently occupied have gym's.

Alternatively you could join a beach club in any of the hotels on Jumeira Beach.

They are all good, it will just come down to how much you want to pay. Range from 5-15k Dhs annually.

Their is Shapes at the knowledge Village. It's 10 min's far from the Dubai Marina.

Your cheapest bet is Jebel Ali club - about Dh1,000 for a year's membership, it has a pool, and it's licensed.

You don't really need to live there, just give a fake villa number or Gardens building number, I have a colleague who did this and they never checked up the address.
