Hi,

I am leaving Dubai as I lost my job.

Anyone know whether i can keep my saving alive? I have trading account linked to the saving.

Please advice.

Don't rely on hearsay on a public forum, different banks may also have different requirements, just talk to your bank's relationship manager, get it straight from ther horse's mouth!

And more than likely have your account frozen without question or delay.

If you have no outstanding debt I don't think there should be a problem with your account being closed. If you do have outstanding debt, can you suspend your trading account until you can move your money to a bank outside of Dubai?

Then again, do as Dillon suggested - talk to a bank rep or 3 - 2 out of 3 answers should match if you are lucky.
