If any of you work for the RTA, please turn the traffic lights off again at the Arabian Ranches R/A. They were broken for two days and traffic flow was better than WITH the lights! I thought it was a public holiday as I drove down Al Quadra RD. and breezed on thru.

Today was different, though. The lights are "fixed" and now it is a 3-light, 10 minute wait to enter the R/A. Seems like you can be an urban planner here if you can spell CIVIL ENGINEER correctly. I'd consult for free.

Whilst I tend to agree about the lights, the down side is that the Roundabout becomes an extremely dangerous juction without the control, their were many accidents in the past prior to the installation of the lights. Anyway should only be about 6 months then all the horror will transfer to the next roundabouts, Al Khail & Green Community.
