Are there a lot of Malaysians in Dubai?

i only know that in 2006 4% of ppl in dubai were locals, 4% were Westerners, 10% were Arab AND 78% FROM FAR ASIA!!! but i dont know about Separate nationalities.

they took a census at the begining of the year or late last year, can't remember which.... results and stats still haven't been published although they were supposed to be out in june or july.

dubai municipality normally produces a statistics year book each year in which they try to cover a multitued of things like housing, population, imports, exports etc... the department of economic development also collect statistics, but basically those related to trade and industry

try the dm web site you may be able to track some of 2005's figures down
