I have heard that you can buy a 6/12 month contract card for your lap top in Dubai, thats if you cant pick up a wireless connection or your not connected to a land line, my question is where do you buy them ? and how much ? anyone out there with some information i would totally apprieciate it...

I bought a USB Modem through Etisalat (850 Dh), inserted a SIM card to get connected anywhere anytime. They have several monthly packages based on usage (prepaid and postpaid). Hope this helps. They can also install a wireless modem in your apartment but that will only give you access in your apartment.
