I know we use "A4" paper here in Dubai but does anyone know where I can find 8.5" x 11" size paper. That will be the size used in other parts of the world like Dubya's country!

I think in the UK that is equivilent to "legal size" paper Concs. Can get it here easy, if you are desp and cant source in dxb i can bring a ream over for you next week.

Legal is typically 8.5 x 14.

and A4 size =8.25 x 11.7 inches

Thus A4 paper is norrower and longer and screws up certain things...

PC load letter = A3 paper in UAE

PC load letter = 8.5" x 11" paper where they print dollars.

my bad, apologies.

I rang my local office supplies store and "letter size" paper is almost exclusive to USA, Can and Mexico.

^count the Philippines in. We're using letter size and legal size papers, but some are using A3 too though not common. Geodetic engineers and land surveyors i know back home prefer to use A3 size, i don't know why.
