Just wondered how it is and if its really worth my time to try and move over there?

depends on what type of job you have lined up. if housing is provided. it's not all rosy anymore and i'm an american who moved here last year.

if you've got work lined up, and they pay for housing it might be worth it, but if you are coming out here to look for work, it'll depend on what line of work you're in.

Isn't it true that if you're American then you have to pay US taxes for money that you earn over here? In Australia you get 'Non-resident for tax purposes' status then it is 100% tax free. Just curious, what is the deal in USoA?

you won't have to pay taxes on the first 87.5K USD, but that includes your housing, so most folks don't report income while here. but legally you're exempt from 87.5 only

im an american..moved here a few months ago. I dont know what kind of work you are looking for...but if you worked anything on the strip (except handing out hooker brochures, business cards), you might find something here

Keep in mind, the economic crunch has slowed down hiring here.

I stumbled into the Rattlesnake the other night I now think that anything to do with Hooker management would probably be an asset in this town. ;-)
