The Japnese Contractor, ranked as the 16th biggest Global contractor by ENR is cancelling all its Contracts on Palm Jebel Ali and laying off all employees. The current contracts include Piling for patforms for waterhomes, trunk-spine bridge, spine infratructure and the tunnel. They ran out of cash, Nakheel hasn't paid them for over 4 months.
