Other than genes...

Many people die without a will (just bills) and I have not directly inherited anything - just thru parents, etc. - but I am hopeful (it is just that people are living too long )

I've seen how many problems seem to come with inheriting things, so I'm almost hoping that I inherit nothing - ever!

Except if you inheret a billion dollars...might be a problem but...I take it

I saw it for myself just how really ugly family members can get when my mother passed away when it came to her sister and brother.

No I never have. I see it always gets really messy when people don't have wills.

I inherited my Dad's good looks

Here is what my great aunt did:

At a family gathering (a religious holiday) she gave each of her 5 children (grown by then) a roll of colored labels and told them that they were to each pick one thing at a time (in a rotating basis) until all things in her house were labelled. Needless to say it was 'awkard' at first but it worked. By the way, the rest of the immediate family was present (husbands/wives) so there were no fights.

She was a genius!
