Ah Yes! I spent last night with my Iranian friends for their New Year celebrations. Very interesting indeed with regard to all the items you have to have on the table in the house and what they represent.

Sadly the NY has fallen in a period of mourning for Iranians for the last 3 years, so celebrations in Iran are pretty subdued.
