I have heard a lot about investing in gold certificates. However, I have some queries:
1) In what denomination are they available?
2) Can I redeem certificate against physical gold?
3) What is the minimum period for each certificate?

Gold certificates are really good option these days for investments. Major benefit is you do not have to store the gold physically. Emirates NBD Bank offers Gold Certificates and to answer your queries:
1) In what denomination are they available?
- Gold Certificates are available in denominations of 300 grams (999 finesse) multiples and 500 grams (995 finesse) multiples

2) Can I redeem certificate against physical gold?
- The Certificate can be redeemed against physical gold or the equivalent amount in cash (credit to the account or a manager’s cheque in case of a Gift Certificate) at any time during the period of 5 years until maturity

3) What is the minimum period for each certificate?
- The period of each Certificate is 5 years from the date of its issuance. But it can be redeemed at any time within these 5 years
