The only reason you would lock a forum is if you wanted only certain users to access it. THat way no-one else can read or post any items.

If you mean locked by invitation only, yes this can be done.

If you mean locked by shutdown, yes, this can be done too.

It can also be blocked in this country, something I think will happen soon.

but the forum it self, lets say romance, was just locked....why? what would be a reason for locking an entire forum?
