Today also gayparade (or is it gaypride?) starts in Amsterdam. But thats not for me, still they bring a nice colourful party atmosphere to the city.

It's really quiet FD. It's like a ghost town during the day but come Thu/fri that will all change.
Tonight we went out for Iftar buffet so were in the taxi when the prayer was starting. Some people where handing out little bags at the traffic lights and handed us 4 into the taxi. They contained dates, water and orange juice. I thought that was a very nice gesture to end someone's fast.
