Dust Allergy

Dust allergy Apr 27, 2009
I've realized that my allergy to house dust is just a micro version of being allergic to a whole dusty desert and when the wind blows? Ugh! Misery!
Has anyone found a good allergist in Dubai? I've been buying some medicine over the counter but sometimes I guess that I will need to bring in the BIG GUNS (prescription antihistimines)! Any other watery-eyed, itchy sneezing allergy sufferers with the answer? If so, here is a virtual tissue and my TANKS...that should be Thanks but I have a stuffy nose!

If you want a natural way for some relief for the nose you could try a neti pot with warm salt water and rinse out your sinuses. I used it in Dubai when I had dust irritation and when I was sick with a cold.

Snow, try using Google if you don't know what something is. Lots of info on the internet :)

Yes, a nose douche! It really works though - you should try it.

I've been suffering from allergic rhinitis for the longest of time. I used to use those nasal sprays that dilate my sinuses, but the problem is that it dilates them too much that I "drown" from the air I breath and my nasal cavities get extremely dry that they bleed.
I should try that nose douche :)

I use the nasal sprays too, and have the same issue. Tablets like Clarinase are quite good I find.

But for me a good face plant wakeboarding is a sure fire way to clear out the sinuses, water keeps coming out hours later

That sounds effective Chocs, but a little too painful for me to want to try.
