Dubai Mall Ice - Water Pooling?

Whats the story with Dubai mall ice rink..? I see there is water pooling on it these days.. Before it used to be all frozen.. Something must be wrong because this is not normal and should never happen..

It's normal and happens one every rink.
As more and more people go round and round, the top surface gets cut up and melts. Normally, at regular intervals, they bring out a little seeper type of thing and mop up the surface, and then it re-freezes.
Of course, if it's 2 inches deep, then there is more of a problem......

Odd.. Was never an issue in Canada where I think we know a thing or two about ice.. 
One thing, the rinks in Canada are certainly cooler then the Dubai Mall so thats a factor also..

Canada in general is about billion times cooler than Dubai Mall or Dubai. Just throw some water on a flat surface and instant ice rink !

Are you the same guy who showed up last year in the summer with ski's at the Toronto airport..
There are stories of those American's doing that.. Totally clueless bunch sometimes... In the summer its normal to have +30c to +35c in the city..

Yes tele we all know it gets "hot" and humid for a few days in a year out there. Even close to 40 sometimes.

Record is +41c I think.. Its usally as humid as ever.. Isn't it cooler this time of year now then typicaly here in Dubai?

In winter times its gets as cool as the average Canadian summer of 25 to 30 C. Night time can get lower than 20. Almost never single digits in the cities. Out in the deserts and mountains it can.
