As a "welcome back" from holidays my landlord gave me notice that my place will be demolished, etc.

So I am planning a demolition party. That is, the last day we'll have a party and break sh!t up. It will be BYOT (bring your own tools, hammers, etc.).

I did something similar right out of college when the owner demolished a mansion we were leaving in (rent was cheap because the owners were going to demolish it anyway). It was a great house - a shame really. But we had a "blast" breaking stuff up - windows walls, etc.

I'll make arrangements to disconnect the electricity and water ahead of time so there are no electrocutions.

Get it in writing that it is being demolished. He could just be kicking you out to raise the rent.

I will come and watch if you leave the electricity on.

Defo being demolished. I might charge for partial demolition.
