Call to Lebanese Graphic Designers

Canvas magazine is initiating a series of immediate relief operations as part of a unique and creative initiative to raise funds for people caught up in the hostilities in Lebanon.

The brief
Lebanese Graphic Designers working in the United Arab Emirates are invited to submit works on the inspirational theme of ‘Lebanon Looking Forward’ as part of a unique initiative to raise funds for people caught up in the hostilities in Lebanon. Entrants should send low-resolution digital images in JPEG format with their name and contact details by Monday 31 July, 2006 to design@mixed-media.com


Terms & Conditions
· Entries must be the original work of the graphic designer.
· Any medium is acceptable.
· All work entered must be portrait size, 50 x 60 cm.
· A selection team will view all entries and make a selection of the work(s) that is submitted.
· The selected entries will become the copyright of Mixed Media Publishing.
· Entrants will be notified by email of the judges’ decision by 2 August, 2006.


The winning poster(s) will be printed and sold at retail outlets across the world. All proceeds from the sale will go to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
