Other than malls restaurants, what do you do these days in Dubai?! It is boring..

Hi Mel, if you could do anything you desired, what would you do?

Try the waterparks

Nothing like a bit of 'Maths' to keep you amused!

bowling, cinema, games (like cards, chess, etc...), or travel to another Emarita at evening (just for change)...

Go out and make new friends.

Maybe Mel feels a bit selfconcious if she's alone in Dubai? Where's Sym?

Go to the east coast. Fujairah, Khor Kalba, take a desert safari tour, check out the wadis and mountains in Hatta. Lots to do

btw, Dillon I found the Marmite! I had it with no bread or anything else and it is not my cup of tea at allllll!

You can always go to bars and stuff by yourself.

My mum used to say there was no such thing as bored but only a boring person (opps sorry Mel, that wasn't aimed at you!)

Check the museums, bastakiya, heritage village, visit Burj Khalifa. Go to the Shj Iranian Markets etc etc

Go for a walk along the creek and get whistled at by the Pakistani workmen. If you're lucky you will catch one of the going to the toilet from the back of the boat, and I'm not talking wee wee!
Walk along to the Sheraton (is it the Sheraton?) and pop in for a light lunch. There is a nice English pub in there. No one will bother you in there Mel.
When you've finished your lunch, walk back along the creek and get eyed up by the Pakistani workmen. Give them a big beaming smile and make their day!
Take an abra over to the other side of the creek. There will be more Pakistanis over there too.

I wasn't close enough to see the stamp on his bottom Zonker. The little Pakistani flag hoisted on his turd, as it floated downstream, gave it away.

Enough Zonker! I'm quite confident that I saw the bottom of a Pakistani man. Well I suppose he could have been Iraqi...or Iranian...or.. well they all look the same to me

I can't wait till the 8th of August, to go back to my office in Corniche Rd. AD

I had a friend, emarati fellow Umer who used to work on Das for Adnoc, finally got sick of that and left. Maybe you know him ? But this was a few years back.
