AC Milan aren't prepared to go any higher than the $3 million they have offered LA Galaxy for his services.

LA Galaxy won't accept such a small amount and want 12.

Why doesn't he pay the extra $6 million out of his own trousers?

The simple answer is, because he should'nt have to?

Who pays to play? lol, that would be the embarrassment of the century to Beckham, the Galaxy and the whole MLS.

Nobody will have to know.

And if he's serious about beating Bobby Moore's record as an outfield England player I thought he wouldn't think twice about doing all he can to get away from that Sunday League pub team in California and play for a respected club.

I believe he matched it at 108 against Spain on February 11th.

Beckham will never be able to get out of contract from Galaxy ;)
They have so many US sponsorship dollars from the free printing press, they can offer whatever they want just to keep em there :D

Well never say never... Money can do many things.

Beckham's contract with the Galaxy and the MLS in whole is a very complicated one. If he pulls out early, it could have a serious effect on his compensation, hence the decision is not open/shut.

I hope he goes to AC milan. Galaxy is a horrible team... The MLS will NEVER be a proper well respected league like the English Premiership.

He thought his England career was over after being dumped by Steve McLaren and went to the USA to cash in on his fame.

Spurs
Chelsea
Pompey

Op Noorth:

Admittedly Chelsea is in decline, but Spurs have come on strong over the last decade. Smoggie is Boro - smog.

Middlesbrough FC Release Official Statement

“Middlesbrough Football Club would like to issue a statement regarding recent rumours that have been circulating through the media, fans and internet messageboards.

“Seven Premier league players are subject to these rumours and we have decided as a club to comment on this speculation in hope of a rapid conclusion to unfortunate events.

“Middlesbrough Football Club regret that rumours attached to seven of our players: Franck Queudre, Robbie Stockdale, Colin Cooper, George Boateng, Jonthan Greening, Doriva and Joseph-Desire Job, are true - they ARE all crap.

“We have made our announcement in light of the overwhelming TV evidence, in the form of The Premiership every single week, that has made it impossible for us to defend our players – something opposing teams have had no problems with.

“In conclusion to our statement, we’d like to confirm that all seven players will be dealt with internally and that none of them will be sacked, as speculated by many of our fans - they might be useful in the Nationwide next year, you see.”
