The bank will keep buzzing u until you pay at least one installment. Once you fed your account they'll stop barking for a few days and will come back again to force you pay on time. They will use every way possible, calling your mobile, office phone, texting you,...
If you ask for a few days to settle up they may or may not agree, but if you avoid their calls it will end up filing your security cheque. Remember that blank cheque you signed before getting your loan or CC? And they'll fill it with the full outstanding amount (and not only the late payments) and present it to prosecution.
The police may catch you on your work place but not immediately ( depending on the amount claimed by the bank). But if you try to get out of the country you'll definitely get caught. If you get caught someone (a friend hopefully) must deal with the bank collection dept and negotiate how much to pay to dismiss your case and get you out of the bars.
Before your situation gets worse, try to push on your employer or any one owing you to at least cover the late installments.
