[b]‘AUDITIONS’ For FAME THE MUSICAL

From the producers of [b]‘Blood Brothers’[/b] and ‘[b]Disney High School Musical’[/b] two of the biggest theatrical hits in Dubai’s history, comes the Middle East premiere of iconic musical [b]‘Fame’[/b]. This is your chance to star in this smash hit musical, live here in Dubai in July 2010.

[b]Fame the Musical[/b] is the hit stage version of the film and TV series which has now played seven times in the West End and toured the UK four times. It follows the students at New York's School of the Performing Arts through their four-year course. We see them coming to terms with life and relationships: we see those who persevere, who are resilient - and those who are not. Above all, we see them perceiving the need to strive for excellence. to be the best actor, singer, dancer or musician that they can be. Fame is one of the best loved musicals of all time.

Popular Productions in association with West End Stage Experience will be searching for the best of the best to be part of this spectacular production. ‘Fame School’ will be our traditional professional summer workshop that will not only result in 6 public performances of the musical Fame but also as added bonus for 2010, give extra workshops in acting technique, singing repertoire and dance technique daily, with our professional West End tutors. Participants will rehearse and perform as cast in the main show, but also receive a special extended experience that reflects the spirit of the musical Fame and will give additional training to be the best performers you can be.

Auditions to be part of this brilliant experience are free and will take place on 14th and 15th May in Dubai at Hayya! Meadows club, Dubai. They are open to anyone aged 11 and upwards who has the talent and energy to be part of this amazing experience. Fame School and the performances will take place over a three week period from the 30th June to the 17th July. So basically you audition, then if you get picked you pay to be in the show!

The West End Stage Experience is a full time course, with professional training provided, plus the main production. We feel the fee is excellent value for money and it provides up to 150 hours of high quality training and experience through rehearsals and performances. No other organisation can provide the total professional immersion that WESE does and we are proud of our production success and believe the brilliant results of the previous productions have been there for all to see on Dubai’s stages.

Well state it properly then, instead of hiding it effectively in 'small' print later in the info! To me it's blatant false advertising pure and simple.
