Is it true that men gossip more than women do?

Talking about pronunciation...

Since I arrived here, i was curious why vegetable is pronounce as
ve gi table? is it because when you abbreviate it is called veggies?

and Dr. D, why are you here? i thought ur on Eid break

The reason it is pronounced that way is because whilst English is well spoken in Dubai, it is spoken generally very badly.

Many people here have learnt English from books or courses and therefore rely on the instructors pronunciation. Add to the mix the variety of accents, and you get ve gi table.

My Arabic pronunciation is also quite bad, and it's really the same thing.

Why am I here? Well, in this day and age, even on holidays you need to answer your email.

It is neither a ruleR nor a scale. The correct name for the implement is a Rule, in which it is used to apply the rules of measurement.

A Ruler is Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
A Scale is what you find on the outside of Hammour.

To be truthful Bushra, men talk very little about s.ex. Teenage boys do because they're obsessed with it, but once men mature, they tend to talk about more exciting things and leave their se.x life out of it.

There is often a saying amongst men, those who talk about se.x the most, get it the least.

so does this mean that almost every one of my guy friends are immature...because that is usually all i hear. and the sad thing, none of them are in their teens...

I have received a few PMs from fellow males to be careful what secrets of the male mind I unlock for my female clients. I can understand their concern, and shall be more obscure with my answers in relation to 'guys' from now on.

To the one person who pm'd me requesting I unlock the secrets of the female mind, alas, that is beyond even my skills, although I have spent many years studying the subject in question. I certainly don't feel any the wiser.

A full stop is from the days of typewriters, when after a sentence you needed to come to a full stop, where a comma you only had a semi-stop. A period of course is the correct word, but is seldom used, primarily only for dictation.
