Take something to the UK and sell it to a pawn shop. You should be able to sell the strangest thing and get 10 pounds easily, perhaps a few pence too.

Alternatively, you could just ask Sara_UK for 10 pounds.

The Pachira aquatica is known as the money tree due to the rich harvest in nuts that it can bring, allowing one to sustain itself on it.

Due to Eid there will be a temporary interruption to service.

From 9 am onwards this morning, it may take up to 4 days for Dr. D. to respond to your question, therefore it is requested that if other forum frequenters can reply, that would be beneficial.

Kind Regards

Dr. D.

Also due to mass deletions the 19th page isn't working properly on this thread. Or at least won't work till the right number of posts spill over.

Edit: Tada!

No. With instances of personality theft these days, I have to limit how much about me is online.

Australia lost the game against windies, what could be the most logical reason? what was the turning point in the game accorsing to you.

There are two significant factors that resulted in Australia losing. I should point out, the total score was completely gettable but we made two fundamental errors.

Firstly, the selection of Watson as an opener. He might do OK against Bangladesh, but against West Indies they were kidding themselves. A wasted wicket that brought Ricky Ponting to the crease far too soon and resulted in him losing his wicket early. In opening combos, you need one stroke player (Gilcrhist) and one to ticker (Katich), Watson is neither.

The second is the continuing viewpoint that Micheal Clarke is a middle order batsman. He scores to slowly to be this far down the order and also has a very very nasty habit of running players out. Last night was sadly no exception.

Perhaps move Clarke to open with Gilcrhist, and push Watson down to the lower order, and things might have been different.

Cricket is one of those things where the smallest things can make the biggest difference.

Well done West Indies.

It comes from the Latin derivation Questor / quaerere - which means to seek. The word Quest also has the same root, and the basic summisation of 'question' is a journey or task to find something.

The written English language is littered with contradictory rules and odd spellings of words. Why night, nite and knight for instance?

Well, it took some research, but I have uncovered the *true* answer to this.

English is not what you would call a 'classical' language, such as Latin, Greek or Hebrew, with structured and logical progression. In fact, it is a modern language that draws heavily on other languages for the base meaning of words, and even borrows letter from latin, greek, arabic and other languages to form its words.

Prior to written English there was no set way to spell words, and in much the same way that we use Romanji to spell out japanese words such as Konichiwa, other scripts were used to literate English words.

Hence everyone had a different interpretation as to how they formed the words. It wasn't until the Great Vowel Shift (make sure you pronounce the V properly) of the 1500's did it move towards any standardisation and the pronunciation of words was locked down into a structure.

Unfortunately, like anything English, they only did half a job before they knocked and decided to get pissed down the pub. Hence the English language has changed little in 500 years despite many non-English people's attempt to fix this.

Unfortunately this is the realm of the unexplainable. There are many things we don't understand, that even evade science for an explanation, such as string theory, quantum physics, gravity etc.

In order to grapple with strange unknown phenomenon, many science people apply Occam's Razor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor) which in a nutshell says the simplist reason is often the most likely one.

In this instance, applying Occam's Razor, I would assume that the simplist explanation is that the police department should train their pursuit cops better. Worst car chase ever.

Oh, that and it appears to be a ghost.
