I thought I would share with you the story of me and my verruca.
My verruca has been with me for ten years now and I am growing attached to it, and it to me.
At first I thought I should make an eefort to rid myself of this virus and I invested in a remedy called 'Bazzoca that Verruca'. Religiously, for 7 days and 7 nights, I painted my verruca with the chosen remedy. At the end of the period I had a white blob on the bottom of my foot and I thought I would pick the scab off and see what I was left with.
I was left with a verruca. Bazzockering it had not made the slightest difference.
Some weeks later I invested in another potion, recommended to me, which was to form a barrier over the verucca and choke it to death.
Religiously, for 7 days and 7 nights, I painted my veruuca with the chosen remedy.
At the end of the treatment I felt sure I that I had rid myself of the dreaded verruca and picked my way through the debris of dead skin on the ball of my foot. I used the sharp end of a compass. When I got to the bottom of it, what I revealed was a verruca!
It had taken on the appearance of a smiley face!
I've grown accostomed to my faithful verruca. She does not cause me any pain and when I'm feeling stressed I often rub the area which seems to bring me some relief for my woes of the day.
Lately I have been thinking that I should make a bigger effort to rid myself of my faithful friend as when making love the other evening, my new lover exclaimed that I had a corn. A corn? Excuse me? That's my friend, my verruca!
It appears that it's the new boyfriend or the verruca. I'm inclined to go with the verruca, as she has been pain free for 10 years.
Does anyone have any tried and tested remedies for the removal of a verruca or should I just say goodbye to the new boyfriend?
