I wanted to ask if anyone knows this hotel?

Its for a couple who aren't interested in sight seeing or whatever else is going on in Abu Dhabi. There are just looking for a luxurious break, peace, quiet, sunshine, a nice pool, a few drinks and some nice food.

Could this be the hotel for them?

If you think you know somewhere else that fits the bill in the Emirates, I'd be interested to hear.

I was thinking about going there next w/end BM.
Its at Liwa, which is an hour or so inland from Abu Dhabi. Yes, in the middle of the desert, so not much else to do except eat, drink, and hump anyway.
It seems like a rival to Al Maha, but looks a lot bigger and is a lot cheaper as well.

Not when I was there, but it was a few years ago, a good few years. I was there when Diana was killed by MI6.
