when i arrived on dubai airport, can i buy there in duty free shops some alcohol and take it with me to my hotel?

You are allowed 4 x 1tr. bottles or 48 cans of beer.

are you a resident or a visitor?

If visitor then yes.
If resident then you're supposed to have an alcohol license but customs almost never check.
Duty free limits here (beer limit is 24 cans I thought)
